In March 2008, Clive semi-retired from running the firm's Land & New Homes department, which he had built into a potent force specialising in Town and Country Planning and property development. He is still available for consultancy, and one of his areas of expertise is land-assembly, facilitating agreement between several vendors where individually their property might be less valuable than if they were combined into one development proposition. He is also an expert in the area of property auctioneering and new homes marketing.
