The size of your conveyancing bill will be influenced by many factors. Not all solicitors charge the same; Stamp Duty increases substantially at different price breaks; buying leasehold property can sometimes add to the cost of conveyancing etc. There is no substitute for asking your conveyancer for a breakdown of your estimated costs; however, the following information should give you a reasonable understanding of how, why and where your money will be spent.
If you are buying property, your approximate costs will be as follows:
Buying at between £120,001 and £250,000
Buying at between £250,001 and £500,000
Buying at £500,001 and over
