Ripley

This has to be one of the area's prettiest villages although it is largely based around the old A3 road - now by-passed by the newer A3. The walks around and about are stunning with an abundance of countryside and riverside ambles linking together. The centre features many period buildings, one or two fine restaurants and several antiques shops. The legendary Eric Clapton played cricket for the village upon its vast cricket green. Predictably homes here are considered high-value and are extremely sought-after.
