Horsell

Leafy Horsell is a highly regarded village that lies to the other side of the Basingstoke Canal from Woking's town centre. It has its own busy High Street and schools for all ages. This is one of the older parts of the borough and consequently the houses here are mostly character homes with some more modern individual homes infilling. The housing developments here tend to be small in scale. One of the best things about Horsell is that it has its own common - some 1,300 acres of unspoilt countryside - one of the first large areas of countryside that one might encounter on leaving London.
