AirTrack
Railtrack are currently looking at building a short length of track near to Staines so that Woking will be able to link with Heathrow Airport and from there to Paddington Station. This is a £100,000,000 project and is, according to Railtrack, commercially viable. The significance of this is that as public money will not be needed it stands a greater chance of success. The project is still in its planning stage but if it happens it will be the biggest thing to hit Woking since the original link to Waterloo!
Coach to Heathrow
From Woking’s railway station yard a regular coach service provides travellers with a fast and convenient link to Heathrow. The journey takes roughly half an hour and travels at half hourly intervals.
